Total Gym Chest Fly

Chest flies are excellent for strengthening and building the pecs in addition to stretching them. The Total Gym chest fly does everything that standard dual cable cross chest flies do with the addition to working your core muscles. A bonus for using the Total Gym for chest flies is you can instantly transition into chest press and vice versa. As with all Total Gym exercises increasing the angle of the Total Gym bench increases the difficulty but in the case of  the Total Gym chest fly, you can straighten out your arms a little more and spread them further apart to increase the demand for the chest muscles. Since chest flies isolate the pecs, they are not as important as compound exercises for those involved in weight loss programs, but are invaluable for those looking to build and tone the pec muscles.
