Low Cable Kickbacks

Low cable kickbacks or triceps kickbacks on a low cable are an isolation exercise for the triceps. Like most other cable exercises, triceps kickbacks take advantage of the constant resistance throughout the entire range of motion which is the primary benefit of using cables. The range of motion in which gravity (or the lack thereof) limits the effectiveness of dumbbell kickbacks is under just as much resistance as the rest of the motion so the triceps are under constant contraction. Low cable kickbacks are superior to dumbbell kickbacks in almost everyway. They can be performed with either a palms up or palms down grip.
