Leg throws are an explosive hip flexion and abdominals exercise that requires
a workout partner. To perform the leg throws properly lie directly under your
partner and grab their ankles. You will bring both legs up explosively at your
partner who will push your legs back down. DO NOT resist completely when your
partner pushes your legs at the ankles but try to control the descent of your
legs and explosively kick them back at your partner again. Leg throws should be
considered a late intermediate to advanced exercise that is predominantly used
for athletes. Leg throws should not be performed every workout but most people
can try to perform them from time to time when they are looking for a
challenging workout.
