Heavy Tube Rows

Rows should be an important part of anyone's exercise program as they not only work a large muscle group but they help strengthen the most commonly lengthened muscles due to poor posture and sedentary lifestyle. Since the row is an exercise which most people can use large amounts of resistance, it takes a set of heavy resistance bands to make the exercise worthwhile.

If you have resistance bands that allow you to use heavy enough resistance the distance you are from the attachment also modifies the resistance. The advantage of using resistance bands during the row is the stretch of the band makes the resistance the greatest at the very end of the motion. Since the end of the rowing motion is where the recruitment of the important shoulder retractor muscles occurs, it is important to set the resistance so you always can get full range of motion.
