The dumbbell pullover is a highly underrated exercise which targets the sternal portion of the pecs as well as the lats and the long head of the triceps. This unique combination of muscles in which dumbbell pullovers targets makes it an exercise that can be performed on either your arms, back or chest training split. The dumbbell pull-over has long been used by bodybuilders, some who consider dumbbell pullovers more as a stretching exercise with the belief that they increase the diameter of the rib cage which can help build side of the upper body.
