Barbell Supine Rows

Supine rows are a great bodyweight exercise for all the muscles in your lower back including your your lats,  rhomboids and middle traps as well as your biceps and forearms. Barbell supine (supine refers to the position of face up) rows can be done on a variety of pieces of gym equipment and even outside the gym on any bar that has a place to put the feet. Due to the horizontal position of the body, unlike pull-ups which have a vertical orientation, supine rows force you to lift only a percentage of your body weight rather than 100%. This can be varied by placing the feet in different positions.
