Some people may question the point of certain exercises or may just think
they look funny and Total Gym concentration curls are definitely one of them.
There many variations of biceps curls on the Total Gym or using other pieces of
equipment but this exercise forces you to isolate them just as much if not more
by any other exercise. Because you are lying flat on the Total Gym bench with
your upper arms fully supported you will not be able to cheat on your form in
any way. You will isolate your biceps completely for each repetition for maximum
muscle building. Since concentration curls work the small biceps muscle, they
are an accessory exercise which is not the best choice for those interested in
full body results but are excellent for bodybuilders or those simply looking for
those shapely biceps peaks.
