Stationary Lunge Split Squats

The split squat or stationary lunge as it's called by some, is an exercise which can be effectively done with limited space and no equipment. Resistance can be added in the form of dumbbells, a barbell, a weighted vest, etc. to increase the resistance and difficulty of split squats.

You can modify the muscles you want to emphasize by changing your stance during split squats. For example if you want to hit your adductors (inner thighs) you simply have to move your front foot off to the side. Split squats are great for any part of a legs workout.
