Few exercises are more challenging and tiring than this combination exercise
(commonly referred to as renegade rows) which incorporate dumbbell rows and
walking staggered push-ups. The renegade row is for those interested in building
functional strength and muscular endurance. For those with bodybuilding type
goals, there is no point in performing these staggered dumbbell row pushups when
you can perform bench press, dumbbell rows, etc. by themselves and use heavier
weights.
Renegade rows are for advanced people who have already mastered the
dumbbell row and push-up as well as can hold the plank position comfortably
for up to 60 seconds. You can use them at any point of any workout that
involves the chest and back although many use them as a workout in itself.
