Yet another progression from the stability ball plank which was a progression
from the floor plank is the stability ball circular plank. 'Circular' refers to
the motion of your arms as you hold the stability ball plank position. Like the
advanced stability ball plank, in order to perform the exercise
properly, you must keep your body completely stabilized in the exact position,
except for your arms which are moving.
It is a good idea to perform this exercise to the side of a mirror so you
can check your form and make sure you are not (cheating) moving your entire
body back and forth. For maximal core work, you can move your arms in both
clockwise and counterclockwise directions.
