Dumbbell Arnold press is a modified shoulder press which attempts to change
the emphasis from anterior to medial deltoids during one fluid motion. There are
many ways to perform the Arnold press. Which way you perform the Arnold press
really depends on personal preference. The most important thing to remember, as
with all overhead exercises, healthy shoulders are a must especially when you
consider the rotator cuff will be under heavy stress during the Arnold press
when the dumbbells are rotated.
