Dumbbell anterior deltoid raises or front raises have been a staple exercise
for anyone lifting for aesthetic reasons. The simple isolation exercise for the
anterior deltoids is effective and easy to perform although it may not be
completely necessary. If your exercise program already has its fair share of
bench and shoulder presses, make sure you don't overtrain the anterior deltoids
as muscle imbalance may not only look disproportional but it could lead to posture problems and injury.
