The boat pose is a yoga form which requires you to maintain a position and
stabilize your body there while V-ups are a dynamic abdominal exercise.
This version of the exercise on the BOSU balance trainer can be done as either
although the dynamic V-ups will require almost superhuman core strength and
balance to perform effectively. If the movement is not possible you can still
improve your core stabilization strength by balancing yourself on the ball in
the v-up or boat pose position.
